We recommend using smaller stones for pathways; they tend to pack together better, making the walkway more stable and comfortable for walking. Gravel walks are low maintenance, long-lasting, and generally only require occasional weeding for maintenance. For enhanced beauty, consider edging your gravel walkway with small boulders or other natural stone materials.

Stepping-Stone Paths

Installing a stepping-stone pathway is also fast and easy. Simply select the stone, remove sod where you plan to lay each stone, level the area with sand, and place the stone. It's really that simple! We recommend arranging the stones so the distance from the center of one stone to the center of the next is approximately two feet. Additionally, we suggest setting the stone one inch above soil level to prevent water from pooling on the path.
